Gifts in Wills
The difference leaving a gift in your Will makes
Leaving a legacy to Hft can help to ensure our vital work continues long into the future.
You can give people with learning disabilities a bright future with a gift in your Will
Wills are amazing things. They help you to protect your family’s future and they give you an opportunity to support a cause close to your heart.
Including a gift to Hft in your Will, once you have taken care of your loved ones first, is one of the most lasting and inspirational ways you can support people with learning disabilities. Not only do you give them the support they need to live their lives more independently...
It’s a gift that will cost you nothing during your lifetime
... but a gift in your Will can help to ensure our work continues long into the future. You don’t have to be rich to leave a gift to us in your Will. Every gift, no matter what size, is welcome and will help to make an amazing difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities for years to come.
Having long-term security is very important to Matthew and his family
At 31 years old, Matthew is enjoying living in his own self-contained flat within a residential site. Matthew has complex learning disabilities, cerebral palsy and no speech. But thanks to gifts in Wills, we were able to equip Matthew’s flat with personalised technology devices, including sensors which alert staff if Matthew has left the house or if the bath is overflowing. These innovations have meant that Matthew can live safely and much more independently, and his family also know he is settled and secure in a home he loves.
