Major Partnerships

The majority of Hft’s funding comes from local authorities, who pay us fees to provide basic support to the learning-disabled people whose care they are responsible for. However, these fees only cover support for individuals. This means that we do not have extra funding available for us to invest in additional specialist services, or to maintain our national projects.

That’s where our donors and supporters come in. We are working in partnership with our donors to ensure that learning-disabled adults can live their life, their way. The generosity of our benefactors has allowed us to expand beyond the basic care of individuals, providing bespoke support, services and projects that make a huge difference to the lives of the people we support.

When partnering with us, we will ensure that you receive updates on our work, showcasing the impact of your donation. We invite our donors to attend exclusive events, and are happy to publicly thank you for your donation through our communication channels, should you wish.

How can I help?

If you have any questions about share giving, asset and tax-efficient giving, please do get in touch.

We welcome queries about bespoke projects, funding needs for specialised services, and requirements for people with varying needs.
