About the Service
Hft is seeking support workers to work in its Biggleswade supported living services for adults with a learning disability to support them to lead their lives as fully as possible, both in their homes and in the wider community, in the ways they want to.

We are committed to supporting people in their preferred manner at times they choose, so we are looking for team members who can work flexibly, to include working evenings and every other weekend. In return, we offer excellent staff training and support, and a job which is always varied and definitely rewarding.

Hft is a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families.  We are committed to supporting people with learning disabilities to live the life they choose.

You will be working to our philosophy of Person Centred Active Support, empowering adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a huge range of everyday tasks and leisure activities including making choices and leading fulfilling independent lives.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as an excellent training package is provided. 

You must be available to work shifts covering a 24 hour service including weekends. A full driving licence is preferred however not essential.
