Volunteering as a group is a great way to build team spirit and to use the skills of your employees to support a good cause. Teams of volunteers often work on specific projects or initiatives; from painting and decorating someone’s first independent home to organising a summer party.
These are just examples of our volunteering opportunities; you can find more information by visiting our main volunteering page, emailing email@example.com, or by getting in touch with us so that we can discuss your volunteering interests.
You can also help us to change the lives of adults with learning disabilities by offering work placements for the people we support.
Meaningful employment is an important part of a fulfilling life, so we run a number of projects that provide work opportunities. These schemes are very successful – and the more employers we can find to offer places, the more people we can help. We’d be happy to talk to you about how this might work at your business, and how we would support you to ensure each placement is a success.
There are other ways you can help people with learning disabilities to find real work – such as helping people to write CVs and application letters and developing interview skills.
