Friendship Agencies
Hft run two friendship agencies for people with learning disabilities in the North who wish to develop friendships and/or relationships.
Our friendship agencies introduce members to new friends through their diaries of exciting social events such as theatre trips, themed party nights, discos and much, much more. We also offer support to members to develop relationships and for people who wish to meet on one to one dates.
Stars in the Sky Yorkshire is run in partnership with Dimensions and is based in Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas. The project's success led to it's expansion to the Calderdale area in 09/10. Using the same model and with input from the Stars in the Sky team, Hft and Citizenship First are bringing the same initiative to Sheffield - Love n Stuff!
