Hft is a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families. Everything we do focuses on helping the people we support live the life they choose.

The history of Hft starts in 1962, when a group of visionary parents got together to discuss their children’s futures.

We meet a strict set of quality and safety standards and regulations focussed on meeting the needs of the people we support.

We’re governed by both our Board of Trustees and our experienced senior management team. As as a membership organisation our members also have a say in how we’re run.
