We have specialist staff teams who are qualified and trained to manage and support individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviour to enable them to develop their full potential, exercise their rights, make choices and learn new skills.

 

HFT has designed purpose-built specially adapted houses for people with special needs around the country, such as in Kent and Cornwall where we offer highly staffed, needs-led supported living for service users with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

 

Other specialist services include facilities for people with Dementia and Prader Willi Syndrome.

 

HFT also has individual services that are enabling people to 'age in place'.  Everyone has 'person centred plan' that ensures the person remains a valued citizen, maintains family and social networks and receives the necessary range of medical, practical and emotional support.
