HFT's 7th Annual conference will now take place in central London at The Cavendish Conference Centre on January 27th 2009.

The Conference is aimed at people working in the learning disability sector who are committed to exploring the use of Person Centred Technology with adults with learning disabilities.

This year we want to share the outcomes of the European conference, TATE (Through Assistive Technology to Employment) which looked at using AT including ICT to increase independence and employability of people with learning disabilities.  As the project only finished in December (with paperwork being completed by March 2008) we felt that May was too soon to be able to give real evidence of outcomes.  Therefore we are now looking at delivering a one-day conference in London in January next year.
