OUT AND ABOUT '“ SOFTWARE PACKAGE
HFT has collaborated with Keele University and Granada Learning to produce a major multi-
media software package designed for use by adults with learning disabilities.

Out and About Level 1 - The Living Community.
Out and About Level 2 - Around the Home.

The inter-
active software features a strong educational content to help people with learning disabilities.

The second CD-
Rom in the Out and About series was published after the enormous success of Level 1. It is aimed at users working at the higher end of Entry Level up to 2 and focuses on activities requiring more advanced reading and writing skills as well as those involving money, pricing and general 'lifeskills' issues.

COMMUNICATION TRAINING VIDEO/DVD
HFT has also launched a communication training video/DVD, 'Let's Be Clear', which aims to help staff and volunteers to communicate better with people with learning disabilities.

Starring Griff Rhys Jones, it features some 'real life' situations, acted out by professional actors, the Heart N '˜Soul drama group, HFT users and staff.

The video/DVD costs £58.75.
