Partnership and Research

HFT works in partnership with many other organisations to research and develop new standards of care and better opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Our current partnership/research projects include:

MAINSTREAMING
Partner: FENACERCI Portugal
Funded by: EC
Objective: To analyse and improve the understanding of people with learning disabilities and their families about mainstream legislation and opportunities.

Objective: To develop ways assistive technology can improve employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

ACCELERATED LEARNING for COMMUNICATION and VALUES
Partner: Contiempo project
Funded by: EC
Objective: To develop accelerated learning programmes in communication and values for new European Union countries ( Bulgaria and Hungary ).
