Volunteering

Help us give adults with learning disabilities the chance to live with more independence and choice by doing something amazing – volunteer at Hft.

Why volunteer with Hft?

Personal and career development

Volunteering is a great way to develop new skills, build your self-confidence, or help your career prospects. Some of our volunteers come to us because they want to completely change direction in their careers and get experience of a new type of job.

Training and development

We provide on the job training for our volunteering roles. You may also have the opportunity to get a volunteering accreditation with schemes like the Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme.
