Tell us a bit about your background

I started my career within the Commercial sector, working in a number of HR roles at Tesco, Mercury Communications and Galileo International. In 1997 I moved to the not-for-profit sector, taking up the post of HR Manager for Scope. I joined Hft in 2003 and now have responsibility all aspects of People Management, Communications and Marketing, and our Public Affairs agenda.

What’s your best ‘Hft moment’?

Our first Fusion Awards ceremony stands out for me. It was a real celebration of our Fusion Model of Support operating at its best and it showcased some truly inspiring work from our staff teams.

I hear so many inspiring examples of our staff exercising skill and judgement well beyond that required in other sectors. I am proud to be part of such as amazing organisation.”
