Tell us a bit about your background
I have spent the last 20 years working in financial services, with the last 15 within risk and compliance. I have extensive experience of working within global financial services institutions as well as rapid growth start-ups, with overall responsibility for all things risk, compliance and governance.
What made you decide to become a Trustee for Hft?
I’d been actively looking for new challenges, and wanting to apply my skills in the third sector and I was approached to see if I would be interested in working with Hft. I have friends who have children with learning disabilities, so I have sight of how important the work that Hft does is. After meeting with with some of the other Trustees, and the Executive team, I was impressed with the values and passion everyone has, and the drive to provide the best possible outcomes for people supported by the charity.
