Tell us a bit about your background
I qualified as a solicitor in a leading City of London law firm, initially specialising in commercial law before moving in-house, when I took responsibility for all UK employment law matters for a large multinational consumer goods manufacturer. I’ve worked in several industries as an in house employment lawyer including financial services, retail and media, but more recently moved into HR where I took a leadership role in a global entertainment business. Currently, I combine my HR and legal skills, working as a workplace investigations expert.
I’ve been married for almost 30 years to Daniel and have three children, the youngest of whom has just started university.
What made you decide to become a Trustee for Hft?
I do already have experience of the not for profit sector, through my work as one of the school governors of a local primary school in South London. I’m now looking forwards to getting involved with the work of Hft.
