Hugh Piper
People have been at the very centre of Hugh’s career for over 40 years in the Commercial and HR world. He spent over 25 Years in Banking, in front line commercial roles, as well as managing massive change programmes in HR Operations, for over 70,000 staff.
The 2nd half of Hugh’s working career was as an Operations Board Director delivering Strategic Resourcing for Manpower Group; involving Outsourcing, Partnering with global international corporations, and many County Councils in the UK, in the provision, and management of staff in the Care Sector and other key Local Authority Areas.
Hugh spent the last 6 years as a Country Manager, and Managing Director of Manpower Regional Operations in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Ukraine.
Hugh decided to join Hft as a Trustee as the breadth, aspirations and scope of what HFT does, whom it helps, and their positive approach to supporting individuals really stood out to him and he was keen to be involved.
