Tell us a bit about your background
I became a Trustee of Hft in 2009, having worked in education for the last 21 years and gained a business degree eight years ago.
I’ve also been Secretary, Treasurer and now Chairman of the Kingston Friends of Hft group and have planned many events to raise funds for Hft including barn dances, jumble sales, and quiz nights.
What made you decide to become a Trustee for Hft?
My family and I have been active supporters of Hft for more than 25 years. My son, Darran, was the first resident of St Matthew’s Avenue (one of the houses in our Surrey services).
“I believe that learning should be a lifelong experience, and encourage the people supported by Hft to widen their aspirations at every opportunity.”
