Annual Review and Report
As Hft supports over 2,200 people with learning disabilities up and down the country, we have plenty of opportunity to pack in a lot of creative and inspired support every year. Our staff use their specialist skills to take advantage of every opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support. But with so many stories to choose from, sharing these with supporters can be a challenge!
Our Annual Review and Report allows us to:
- creatively share some of the key stories from the past year that demonstrate how Hft staff deliver fantastic outcomes for the people we support.
- help people understand more about Hft’s strategy, and what we’re doing to bring about its achievement, with a particular focus on finance. It includes detail on our accounts, including where our money comes from, as well as what it’s spent on.
We hope you’ll find it interesting – and that it helps show how we work hard to ensure that people with learning disabilities can live the best lives possible.
Gender Pay Gap Report
We continue to review, monitor and improve our pay systems to diminish the pay gap between men and women, and improve our organisation. Hft remains committed to equal opportunities, welcoming job applications from all sections of the community, and treating people equally and without discrimination.

Modern Slavery Statement
Following the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, a statement is required from all organisations with an annual turnover exceeding £36 million, to provide greater awareness of the dangers of modern day slavery and to improve transparency within supply chains.
As a charity committed to care, choice and independence we welcome this legislation and recognise the need to engage with this issue. Available to download below, Hft’s Modern Slavery Statement relates to actions and activities during the financial year 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020.
