Date: 20th June 2021
Location: Bradbury, Cornwall
Event Type: Family Friendly Events
Hft Bradbury, St Austell was first opened in 2015 to support people with complex needs including a high level of learning disability, autism, communication and interaction difficulties and sensory processing conditions.
With the help of incredible people like you, we are hoping to build a purpose built sensory unit on site for the people we support who all need sensory input. Having a sensory room helps improve visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills. This allows us to provide a sense of calm and comfort to help support learning to self-regulate behaviours, which ultimately improves focus.
One of the biggest challenges facing the people we support right now due to the impact of Covid-19 is not being able to access any sensory support within their community. Processing everyday sensory information is difficult for people with sensory needs but even more challenging during the pandemic due to changes in their routine, socialisation and isolation.
This has had a profound effect for the people we support.
Hft Bradbury will be hosting their first ever raffle. Tickets are just £1 each and all the money raised will help us to build a much needed sensory unit for the people we support.
How does it work?
Playing Hft Bradbury Raffle is easy but you must enter by midnight on 19 June. Choose your preferred number of tickets, provide your details (we’ll need them if you win!) and pay with your debit card… we’ll email you your raffle tickets and if your ticket is drawn on 20 June, you’ll win a prize. It really is that simple!
How old do I need to be?
Hft Bradbury Raffle is open to residents of the UK aged 16 and over. We regret that any prizes won using a raffle ticket where the named ticket holder is under 16 will immediately be forfeit.
When and how will the raffle be drawn?
The raffle will be drawn at 2pm on 20 June Winners will be picked at random using an automated computer system. Each ticket is unique with a serial number, which can be found beneath the QR code on your ticket; it is this serial number that will be used to determine the winner.
How will prizes be allocated?
Prizes will be allocated according to the order in which tickets are drawn. The first ticket drawn will win the first prize listed above; and so on.
How will I know if I have won?
If you’re one of our lucky winners, we will contact you by phone or email within seven days of the draw, using the contact details you provided when you purchased the tickets. Prizes will be sent out to your postal address or, where appropriate, by email. If your contact details change before the date of the draw, please contact us.
A full list of winners will be listed on this page from 22 June. To protect the privacy of our winners, only first names and raffle ticket numbers will be used.
