Family Campaign Champions
Since launching our It Doesn’t Add Up campaign in February 2016, families of the people we support have been instrumental in helping us get our voice heard.
We’re really grateful for this support which has ranged from signing our petition and writing to (and meeting with) MPs, to getting involved in responses to government consultations and taking part in research which helped us generate real-life stories so people could understand the impact of funding issues on real people.
Your input is invaluable and many of you have told us that you want to be more involved. For this reason, we’ve created a ‘Family Campaign Champions group’.
All you have to do is opt-in, giving us your email address (or other means of contact) and you will receive:
- Regular updates about our campaign activity
- Requests for support, such as writing to your local MP, letters to editor or raising awareness through your social media channels
- Additional policy-focused information
- The opportunity to send queries to our Public Affairs and Policy team who will support you in any activities you choose to get involved with.
You can also change your mind – choosing to opt in or out at any time.
