An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Accountant to assist in the implementation of a new Finance system. Hft has a goal to integrate systems to ensure ‘one Hft’ which will enable real time information and efficiencies across the whole organisation.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the Finance function to support data analysis, cleansing and migration. This will lead to system interrogation to ensure accurate data and implementation of policies, processes and reporting to enable “one Hft”.
The initial 6 months will be working alongside various teams from Sales/Purchase ledger to Estates and Operations. The role will begin with leading on the main part of the Project which will be implementation of one Sales Ledger function. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Project Manager.

Responsibility for: Supporting implementation of new business systems

With an annual turnover of £80 million and growth being the forefront of the future the need for efficient and integrated systems is vital. The implementation of a new Finance system will enable automation, user friendly input and real time reporting. System efficiency is the forefront of the project including a central master data process which will enable elimination of duplication. Hft strives to implement “one Hft” which will enable data to be processed once in the most efficient manner.
About the role:
To provide HFT’s stakeholders with reliable and timely information on demand. The process to achieve this will ensure data is cleansed and the most efficient and robust processes are implemented. Identify the best design process for reporting on income and expenditure to assist with decision making. To implement systems which enable appropriate books of accounts as required by the Companies Act and Charities Act.
