Hours – Full time, of 35 hours per week, (the post holder will be expected to work the hours necessary to complete their responsibilities)
Salary – £40,359 per annum (plus car/car allowance and benefits)
Location – Bristol or Home based with regular travel to Bristol and other UK sites.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to manage and develop the Health and Safety function within Hft.
We are looking for a specialist to provide Health and Safety advice to the Executive Team and the Operational management function, around all aspects of Health and Safety. You will be responsible for reviewing current practice, developing futureproof practice and ensuring that an appropriate approach to health and safety exists for everyone interacting with Hft and the activities that we arrange.

This is a challenging role reporting to both the Executive Director of People and Communications and Hft Audit and Risk Committee. As the lead for Health and Safety you will be responsible for, all aspects of strategic H&S planning; the provision of internal H&S expertise; as well as, operational H&S across the organisation.

Purpose Of The Job: To provide Health and Safety advice to the Executive Team and Operational management in order to plan, develop and implement systems and practices to ensure an appropriate approach to health and safety exists, for everyone who comes into contact with Hft and our activities. This includes; staff , people we support, volunteers, visiting contractors, families and members of the public
