(Temporary contract for 12 months or until the substantive post holder returns)
Hours: full-time 35 hours per week
Location: Bristol or home-based (with regular visits to Central Support Office, Whitefriars, Bristol)

Working as part of the Funding Partnerships Team (FP) you will be responsible for the development of relationships with major donors to achieve agreed income targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will help develop and implement a strategy for long-term support from major donors, identifying and successfully approaching prospects for support and managing those relationships throughout the whole stewardship cycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a forward thinking, welcoming organisation in the early stages of a major donor programme
The successful candidate will have significant major donor fundraising experience (or equivalent transferable experience) and possess excellent communications, interpersonal, presentation and proposal writing skills. They will also be accustomed to working to deadlines and managing budgets.

Major Partnerships Manager
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITY TO: Senior Partnerships Manager
SUPERVISION BY: Senior Partnerships Manager
PURPOSE OF JOB:
Develop and manage a successful major gifts fundraising programme.
The post holder will identify and engage with high net worth individuals (HNWIs) to generate funds to support Hft’s vital work with people with learning disabilities. He/she will be responsible for the development of productive relationships with major individuals to achieve income targets and meet agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
An essential requirement of the role is to build successful relationships with high net-worth individuals, building on existing networks as well as developing new ones. You will identify prospects and develop cultivation plans to successfully engage them with Hft. You will manage relationships through the whole stewardship cycle, involving Hft Directors, Trustees, Patrons and other key influencers as appropriate.
The position sits within the Funding Partnerships Team (FP) and reports to the Senior Partnerships Manager. The post holder will work closely with other fundraisers including charitable trusts, corporate partnerships and community fundraisers.
