Exciting new opportunity
Relief Workers can have flexible hours each week, deciding when they are able to work and where, fitting in with other commitments and the person we supports needs.
As a Relief Support Worker you will enable the people we support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs.
You will join a brand new Hft staff team that is being set up to help an adult with learning disabilities move into their own home. We are about to commence this rewarding project which will change this person’s life.
Our vision is to ensure that the people we support with additional needs such as challenging behaviour are given the same opportunities as everyone else.
To be a successful Relief Support Worker having the right values, confidence and attitudes is more important than experience. Key qualities will be a natural resilience to challenges, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies, self-motivation and most importantly the ability to be passionate about promoting independence and active lifestyles.
We also support and encourage our employees to develop their careers through NVQ courses.
For these roles you will be part of a new team who will have a specially designed induction and bespoke package of additional training as well as a dedicated manager who will coach you along the way.
Join us and help change lives.
