Empowering individuals

Hft empowers people with learning disabilities to live with more independence and choice, and to take control of their lives.

Whatever people’s needs, preferences and goals, our staff work closely with them to help decide on the best type of support.

This might include supporting someone find a job, build new relationships or get involved in more activities in the local community. The determination of our staff to continually push boundaries and challenge assumptions ensures that our focus is always on supporting people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
