Curtain Opener

Open and close your curtains by the press of a button using a remote control, a switch or a tablet.

Opening and closing curtains whenever we feel like it is something most people take for granted.  But for someone with a disability that makes such movement challenging, reliance on a third party’s assistance means a loss of control.

Curtain openers allow people to open and close curtains at the press of a button through use of a remote or environmental control, a switch or a tablet, while some can be controlled via a voice controlled assistant such as Amazon Echo. This can give the person involved control of their environment and enable them to open and close their curtains when they want to, greatly increasing their independence.

Many types of curtain opener are available. Some are mains powered, while some are battery powered and require charging. Battery operated systems are cheaper and less disruptive to install.
