How we are funded
Hft's Family Carer Support Service (FCSS) is a completely free service provided to families which include a member with a learning disability.
The Family Carer Support Service is an essential part of the work Hft does, supporting family carers in the key issues that affect them, bringing them together with other family carers to share experiences, and ensuring that family carers have a voice in relevant government policies.
We rely exclusively on funding from voluntary donations and grants to run the FCSS, so we’d really welcome your support. To donate, please get in touch.
We currently have funding from The Bailey Thomas Charitable Foundation and Skills for Care. In the recent past, funders have included:
- Whalley White Foundation
- The Henry Smith Foundation
- The Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust
- The Alchemy Foundation
- Department of Health
- The Big Lottery
- The Freemason's Grand Charity
- The Baily Thomas Charitable Trust
