Our person-centred approach supports people to take control of their lives. We work closely with the people we support, their families and carers, and health professionals to deliver services that are personalised to individual needs.
Our support workers empower the people we support to make their own choices about how they live, using the social model of disability to keep people at the centre of everything we do.
At Hft Forest of Dean we support people with many different types of learning disability, and have particular experience in supporting people with autism, and challenging behaviour. Our emphasis is on creatively supporting people to live with greater levels of independence and personal fulfilment to live the best lives possible.
Take your first steps towards a rewarding career that offers you the opportunity to make a real and positive difference to someone’s life every day.
'Domiciliary care' means supporting people to live in their own homes. We support learning disabled people to enjoy more independence.
