People supported by Hft get creative for our ‘Design a Christmas Card’ competition!
Whether you’re ready or not, Christmas is fast approaching, and the people we support have been getting into the festive spirit, creating fantastic seasonal cards as part of a festive competition to design a Christmas card that we can send to supporters!
With almost 100 entries submitted, the judges had their work cut out for them picking our winner and the runners up! The panel included a person we support, University of Hull, University of Bristol, London School of Economics Raise and Giving Groups, and our Challenge partner Choose a Challenge, alongside our community team – it was hard to choose, but eventually the judges settled on a winner…
1st place – Laura!

Laura’s winning design, which featured a magnificent Santa Claus using cotton wool, red and blue glitter, googly eyes, real buttons and a bunch of creative flair was the judges’ overall favourite. It will now be winging its way to Hft supporters through the mail! Here’s what the judges said about Laura’s design:
“Great creative use of materials and beautiful vibrant colours”
“This card instantly made me smile, such beautiful details and so much work has gone into the design, fantastic!”
“What a beautiful card! It feels so Christmassy, it looks like a lot of detail was put into this!”
Laura will receive a £30 LOVE2SHOP voucher as her winning prize!
Well done Laura!
