Why support Hft’s Easter Raffle?

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone and 2021 has started the same. But for people with learning disabilities and autism, the challenges have been particularly tough. The physical threat of coronavirus is very real, but so is the impact on their mental health. Changes to routines, increased isolation and confusion about how to stay safe are all causing anxiety and distress.

We can’t predict how this will affect us in the long-term, but we know that it will have a long-lasting impact. Your support is always important to us, but more so than ever through this time of crisis. Every penny raised through our Easter Raffle will help ensure that people with learning disabilities and autism receive the ongoing care, support and practical help they need to live the best life possible; throughout the pandemic and beyond.

Ticket sales end at midnight on 5 April; so don’t delay, buy your tickets today!

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

Playing our charity raffle is easy but you must enter by midnight on 5 April. Choose your preferred number of tickets, provide your details (we’ll need them if you win!) and pay with your debit card… we’ll email you your raffle tickets and if your ticket is drawn on 6 April, you’ll win a prize. It really is that simple!

How old do I need to be?

Hft’s Easter Raffle is open to residents of the UK aged 16 and over. We regret that any prizes won using a raffle ticket where the named ticket holder is under 16 will immediately be forfeit.

When and how will the raffle be drawn?

The raffle will be drawn at 4pm on 6 April. Winners will be picked at random using an automated computer system. Each ticket is unique with a serial number, which can be found beneath the QR code on your ticket; it is this serial number that will be used to determine the winner.

How will prizes be allocated?

Prizes will be allocated according to the order in which tickets are drawn. The first ticket drawn will win the first prize listed above; and so on.

How will I know if I have won?

If you’re one of our lucky winners, we will contact you by phone or email within seven days of the draw, using the contact details you provided when you purchased the tickets. Prizes will be sent out to your postal address or, where appropriate, by email. If your contact details change before the date of the draw, please contact us.

A full list of winners will be listed on this page from 7 April. To protect the privacy of our winners, only first names and Raffle ticket numbers will be used.

Licensing Details

For the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005, this raffle is defined as a ‘small society lottery’ and is registered as such with Bristol City Council. Hft’s registered charity details are 313069 and our registered address is 5-6 Brook Office Park, Folly Brook Road, Emersons Green, Bristol BS16 7FL. The named contact is Paul Kemp.

How will my personal information be used and stored?

Unless you opt in to hearing from us, we will only use your email address to confirm your entry, send you your raffle tickets and contact you if you are a winner. Your email address will be shared with Eventbrite for the purpose of generating raffle tickets ONLY. For more information about how we use and store your personal data, please see our privacy statement.

Privacy

If you sign up to an event via Hft’s Events page, your registration will be processed by trusted third parties such as Eventbrite, a platform designed to let organisations build and manage events. Registrations processed by these third parties are covered by the third party’s own Privacy Policy, which we recommend you read.

While some third parties process your data in the US, Hft is satisfied that these platforms’ security and data protection measures are compliant with UK data protection law.  This status is reviewed regularly.

For more information on how Hft handles your data please visit: www.hft.org.uk/privacy-cookies.

Fine Print

Tickets are priced at £1 each and there is no discount for multiple tickets. Full payment must be received in the form of cleared funds before the ticket can be entered into the draw. Only tickets for which full payment has been received are eligible to win prizes. To comply with UK gambling legislation, we are unable to accept credit card payments for these tickets.

Raffle entry sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time. All entrants acknowledge that the purchase of a ticket does not guarantee that they will win any prize. By entering the raffle, entrants agree that if they win, their first name and town will be published on Hft’s website and potentially our social media pages. Should the winner object to their name being made available, they should inform Hft’s Supporter Care team by emailing hello@hft.org.uk or calling 0117 906 1699.

All prize allocations are final and there are no cash alternatives available. All proceeds go to Hft.
