Luv2meetU will help you to meet new people, try new activities and visit different places. We have Luv2meetU groups across England and Wales, and we host online events too.

Who is Luv2meetU for?
Luv2meetU is a social and friendship group for learning disabled and autistic adults.
Statistics show that around 50% of learning disabled people feel isolated, and one in five say they don’t have any friends. This can have serious consequences on both your mental and physical health. But up and down the country, we’ve been trying to change that.
Luv2meetU is for you if you’re looking to make more friends, socialise more in your community, and visit new places.
Luv2meetU brings over 400 learning disabled people together throughout the year. It helps you make friends, be part of a community, and have more choice in your life.
Our Luv2meetU service is primarily funded by donations. You can help learning disabled people live their life, their way by making a donation today.
What sort of things can I do?
Face-to-face activities
Luv2meetU could help you be healthier and more active. You can join in a range of supported activities in your community such as walking, bowling, sports, and nights out.
We base our events on your feedback. You can be involved in helping plan activities.
Workshops
We run lots of different educational workshops based on staying safe, relationships, mental health, and wellbeing. There are also fun events such as cooking, yoga, and dance.
Luv2meetU Online
This is part of the Luv2meetU service and will allow you to access a range of online, national events. This gives you the chance to meet new people and make friends across the UK.
You can access online events using digital platforms such as Zoom and social media such as Facebook.

When will activities take place?
Both online events and face-to-face activities take place at varied times, including outside of standard nine to five hours. This could be daytime, evening, weekdays, and weekends to give you as much choice as possible.

The safety of our members is very important. All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and fully trained. If you would like more information on our safety policy, please contact us.
How much does Luv2meetU cost?
Accessing Luv2meetU services costs £10 a month. You pay this by setting up a regular standing order with your bank. This will also give you access to Luv2meetU Online so you can join in with virtual events at no extra cost.
In addition, it costs £5 per event attended in your local community, which you’ll pay on the day of the event. If possible, pay by debit or credit card, although there will also be an option to pay with cash.
You’ll also need to pay for the activity itself unless this is advertised as a free event. This could be food and drink, cinema tickets or transport to and from events.
If you need support to travel to and from events, we’ll discuss the options open to you.
