Date: 19th November 2023

Event Type: Virtual

Registration Fee: £10

You are invited to The Virtual Coming of Christmas

Grab a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, switch on the fairy lights and treat yourself to a cosy and heart-warming special evening of festive music and readings with Hft’s The Coming of Christmas.

Sit back and enjoy the breath-taking, historic Dorchester Abbey, beautifully decorated for Christmas and bathed in the glow of candles and Christmas lights.

We are delighted to announce that The Donaghue Concert will be returning for 2023. Made up of a group of recent graduates, the Donaghue Consort features an octet of up and coming young professionals, all of whom work as freelance choral singers and soloists. Hailing from different parts of the country, their singers are employed by choirs including Canterbury Cathedral, Birmingham Cathedral, St John’s College Cambridge, Queens’, College Cambridge, as well as Magdalen and Christchurch College Oxford. Outside of church singing, their singers regularly perform with top choral groups, whilst maintaining portfolio careers made up of concerts, recording, choral conducting and teaching.

Hft’s Virtual Coming of Christmas is guaranteed to leave you feeling festive. Even better, every single penny we raise will help us ensure the critical delivery of projects such as our supported employment programme, Project Search, our friendship and dating project Luv2MeetU and our Family Carer Support Service for the learning disabled adults.

So grab your favourite Christmas jumper, get together with friends and loved ones and raise a glass of mulled wine to Hft, each other and the end of 2023!

We truly hope you can join us and enjoy the wonderful performances from The Donaghue Consort and special guests.
