Supporting learning disabled people to live with more independence and choice across the Leeds and the surrounding area, including Morley, Wetherby, Headingly, Otley, Moortown, Guisley, Crossgates, Garforth and Rothwell.
At Hft Leeds we support almost 80 people with a variety of needs, and have particular experience in meeting the specific needs of autistic people, as well as those with multiple and complex needs.
We offer supported living to people in about 30 houses in and around Leeds ranging from a few hours per week up to and including 24/7 care. The service also offers self-directed support (SDS), a service option that’s currently growing.
‘On Your doorstep’ and ‘Keeping in Touch’ are Leeds-based projects we run that support people in continuing friendships when day centres have closed down. We arrange several get-togethers in a variety of places each month.
Our person-centred approach supports people to take control of their lives. We work closely with the people we support, their families and carers, and health professionals to deliver services that are personalised to individual needs.
What’s consistent throughout is our focus on making sure everyone can draw on the support they need to live their life their way.
